ABOUT:
My musical journey started as a child taking piano lessons. I think it was my mom who encouraged me to pursue music though neither she nor my dad were musically inclined (other than my dad playing “The House of the Rising Sun” on an old 12 string). I traded the piano for an old electric guitar in jr. high because guitars were how I best knew to impress the ladies (besides of course my bowl cut, pimples, and braces). I would sit for hours in my bedroom trying to master Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Metallica, and the likes.
It was in high school that I started singing, and soon thereafter I began writing songs. I was wooed into a relationship with Jesus Christ at 16 years old, and began writing songs of praise and worship to use in corporate youth worship.
Since that time I have pursued the Lord and felt called into the local church to minister. More music has been created as I journey. These song I hope to share with you that they might encourage some, give words to others, and invite the rest to journey with me.
